  7. DESCRIPTION
  8.                 traceroute is used to determine the path taken through a network
  9.                 by messages from one host to another. It will discover all the
  10.                 routers between the hosts and also measure the round trip time
  11.                 to each router. This will give an indication of possible bottle-
  12.                 necks in the network.
